Renovation of a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a restaurant.

In general, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, materials, temporary storage, facilities, tools, cutting and patching, and other appliances necessary for the work in this section and as required to properly complete the project in accordance with these contract documents and good construction practice. Generally, the work includes 1. The project the renovations of the present café, kitchen, storage and surrounding area. Renovation include a. Revised layout for new accessible toilet rooms. b. New kitchen layout and equipment. c. New dining room finishes. d. New roofing system. e. New windows and doors. f. New plumbing and mechanical equipment. g. New electrical service, distribution and lighting. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by close of business on 10/2/24 Project No. CES#2021675.00 The City through its Department of Capital Assets and Construction is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement for the renovation of the existing Veterans Memorial Golf Course Café which includes replacement of the roof, new windows, new kitchen equipment, new finishes, new plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. The existing toilet rooms will be renovated for accessibility. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by close of business on 10/9/24 for general bidders in order to be considered. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes. Chapter 149 requires that the Prime/General Contractor be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management in the category, "General Contractor." The City of Springfield goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates may apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so.
