Site work for a civil project in Cape Charles, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Summary: The County of Northampton, Virginia is accepting quotes for the construction of a new cast-in-place concrete retaining wall/weir wall at the outfall of an existing storm water retention pond located at 22564 Bayview Circle, Cape Charles, VA 23310. The wall will be approximately 25 long and will vary in height between 2.8 and 4.5 tall. . The successful vendor will be responsible for the construction of a new cast-in-place concrete weir wall within an existing stormwater retention pond, including, but not limited to the following: -Turnkey construction of concrete wall including excavation, formwork, reinforcing, finishing, waterstop, orifice, etc., as shown on the attached plans. Excess spoils from excavation of footings may remain stockpiled onsite. - The County will dewater the existing retention pond, as needed, to facilitate construction. Contractor shall not be responsible for any dewatering operations. - The project site is located within an active solid waste collection center. The site must stay in operation at all times. The work shall not interfere with normal operations. - All work shall conform to the attached plans and specifications.
