The Town of Cape Charles, Virginia, is inviting bids for construction of a concrete sidewalk on Strawberry Street. II. Project Overview. The work entails approximately 263 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of Strawberry Street, adjacent to Central Park. This includes a public alley entrance. III. Scope of Work. Sidewalk shall be constructed in accordance with the attached For clarification or interpretation of this IFB contact Mr. Bob Panek in the Town Manager's office, 757-331-3259 ext. 19. Install 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk as follows: o North Section - Approximately 114' long from brick pavers to edge of asphalt pavement at Park Row. East edge of sidewalk shall be approximately 2' west of the park fence. Northern terminus shall include detectable warning surface, VDOT CG-12. o South Section - Approximately 130' long from brick pavers to end of park fence. East edge of sidewalk shall be approximately 2' west of the park fence. o Alley Section - Approximately 19' long from end of south section to existing sidewalk. This section shall include a 12' wide VDOT CG-9B entrance with a 3 1/2 ' long sidewalk on both sides of entrance. Sidewalks shall include detectable warning surface, VDOT CG-12.
