**As of November 25, 2024, the award amount is $3,990,493.53. The Project Consists of Improvements to the St. George Island Stormwater System. These Improvements Include but Are Not Limited to the Addition of New Stormwater Pipes, Stormwater Structur Completion Date for This Project Will Be 210 Days From the Date of the Notice to Proceed Presented to the Successful Bidder. Liquidated Damages for Failure to Complete the Project on the Specified Date Will Be Set at $250.00 Per Day. e, and the Construction of New Stormwater Ponds. These Improvements Will Be Located on St. George Island From Approximately 3rd Street West to 3rd Street East. All Bidders Shall Be Fdot Qualified Per Section 2-1 of the Fdot Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Constructions, Latest Edition in the Following Work Classes: Grading, Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant Mix-bituminous Course. The Board of County Commissioners Reserves the Right to Waive Informalities in Any Bid, to Accept and/or Reject Any or All Bids, and to Accept the Bid That in Their Judgment Will Be in the Best Interest of Franklin County. All Bids Shall Remain Firm for a Period of Sixty Days After the Opening.
