The Township of Upper Uwchlan is accepting bids for individual pieces of equipment (with operators) to perform Roadway Snow Removal services for the 2024-2025 snow removal season. Contractors may bid on all equipment needed or on individual pieces of equipment needed. All equipment bid must be in good working order and Pennsylvania road legal. A 10% Bid Bond or Certified Check must accompany all bids. Upper Uwchlan Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or a portion of any bids. Successful bidders shall post a 10% Performance bond upon award of contracts. The Township reserves the right to inspect equipment to be sure it is available, operable and being properly maintained. All equipment must be ready for callouts. The Township shall have the right to require the contractor to meet these specifications or the Township will replace them. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to split the bid to more than one contractor if deemed in the best interest of the municipality.
