The project is titled AL55061, 2024 Drainage Improvements for the City of Hurtsboro, AL and will consist of comprehensive improvements to two streets in the downtown area. The proposed project will include drainage improvements to be made to the following City streets: Church Street and Long Street. A pre-bid conference is not being offered for this project. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to The City of Hurtsboro's Engineer or by email at crogers@barrett-simpson.com , and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids The Contractor is advised that the contract time for this project is 90 calendar days in time and is being administered by MS. Lisa Sandt, Executive Director, thru the Lee-Russell Council of Governments, 2207 Gateway Drive, Opelika, AL 36801-6834 (334) 749-5264 Ext 205 with funding through the Delta Regional Authority. A certificate of compliance with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, Act 2011-535, as amended by ACT 2012-491, is required by all contractors. All bidders are required to be registered in the System for Award Management online. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
