Scope of the work shall be as shown in the contract documents prepared by Seay, Seay, & Litchfield, P.C. Dated - September 20, 2024. C. Refer to Contract Documents for Base Bid and Alternates, Allowances, Contingency Allowances, and Unit Prices. The project consists of the renovation of the existing cosmetology spaces in Building B for theLurleen B. Wallace CommunityCollege - MacArthur campus,to accommodate new furniture.Renovation consists of interiorfinish upgrades, electrical andplumbing adjustments. A cashier's check orbid bond payable to AlabamaCommunity College System inan amount not less than five(5) percent of the amount ofthe bid, but in no event morethan $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bondsand evidence of insurance required in the bid documents willbe required at the signing of theContract. All bidders bidding inamounts exceeding that established by the State LicensingBoard for General Contractorsmust be licensed under theprovisions of Title 34, Chapter8, Code of Alabama, 1975, andmust show evidence of licensebefore bidding or bid will notbe received or considered bythe Architect; the bidder shallshow such evidence by clearly displaying his or her currentlicense number on the outsideof the sealed envelope in whichthe proposal is delivered. TheOwner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and towaive technical errors if, in theOwner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will therebybe promoted.
