The City of Opp, Alabama wasawarded an Energy Efficiencyand Conservation Block Grant(EECBG) through the AlabamaDepartment of Economic andCommunity Affairs. Therefore,the City of Opp is seeking contractor proposals to provide allequipment, labor, and materialsto perform lighting retrofits atthe Opp Sports Complex located at 1000 Cameron Roadin Opp. All terms and conditions attached are part of this request,and no bid will be accepted unless all of the conditions havebeen complied with. The City ofOpp reserves the right to waiveinformalities in any bid; to refusebids; to reject any or all bids, inwhole or in part; and/or acceptthe bid(s) that, in its judgment, isfrom the lowest responsible andresponsive bidder(s). Each bidder must deposit, withits bid, security in the amount of,form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Informationfor Bidders. Outsideof envelope should includeContractor's business nameand license number. Envelopeshould include current proof ofinsurance, copy of current statelicense, manufactures letteror other document confirmingsystem compliance with theBuild America, Buy AmericaAct (BABA) and the attachedcompleted bid sheet. In addition, selected contractor willbe required to obtain a City ofOpp business license. Finally,this project will require selectedcontractor to follow Davis-Bacon Act.
