Friendswood Independent School District ("District") is seeking statements of qualifications from selected design firms to provide planning, architectural and necessary related engineering subconsulting services for contemplated facilities construction, improvements and renovations. The projects are to be funded by future potential bond referendum, but may be funded through other sources. Services may include evaluation, refinement, and further development of current facilities master plan, facilities need assessment, educational specifications, and pre-election programming, as well as preparation of design documents and contract administration during construction of projects. All services will be subject to voter-approval of a bond referendum. The District will review the completed submittals received by the deadline and may select one firm or create a pool of multiple qualified firms for potential project types. As required by law, the District will make the selection based on the most highly qualified firm(s) for the project types. The selection process will be based on a review of the firm's qualifications, completed projects, project specific needs and client references. Fee negotiations will occur with the most highly qualified firm selected by the District. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. ***Bid Event: One (1) Statement of Qualifications shall be submitted along with (2) two duplicate copies. Responses shall be limited to no more than 50 double-sided sheets, bound to lay flat when opened." Please also include one full "original" copy (in searchable PDF format) on a flash drive. After publicly opening the qualification statements, and discussion and clarification of qualifications with offerors, as requested, the District and will select firms for step 2 Proposals. The district may opt to notify short-listed firms via email correspondence. Provide up to 3 names/email addresses of individuals to be notified of their selection as a short-listed firm. 2. Sealed responses, an original and (2) two duplicates, must reach the BUSINESS OFFICE on or before the designated hour of the due date specified. FAILURE TO SUBMIT RFQ IN DUPLICATE MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF OFFER.
