Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Item 1. 13,560 LF of 6" PVC Water Main, Class 160, SDR 26 Item 2. 1,365 LF of 6" Bore (Yelomine and Directional) Item 3. 180 LF of Bore & Jack 12" Steel Casing w/6" Yelomine Item 4. Replace 112 meters Item 5. Fire Hydrants, Gate Valves, etc. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Village of Donnellson, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that 1) not less than the Federal prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; 2) The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3, 24 CFR Part 75; and 3) The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Specifically, the Contractor shall complete and return the Intent to Comply with Section 3 Requirements with their submitted Bid. Bidders must not be excluded from participating in any federal assistance program [24 CFR 85, Subpart C 85.35; 2 CFR 200.214]. The Village of Donnellson reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Village of Donnellson for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
