Wilmington Housing Authority is seeking quotes from licensed and insured companies for Janitorial Services at the Central Administration building located at 400 North Walnut Street located in Wilmington, DE. The selected contractor shall provide the following services, as attached in the Scope of Work and Janitorial Services Checklist. Questions due October 09, 2024 by 12:00PM. Responses due October 17, 2024 by 12:00PM. Base Period: The initial term of the contract shall be for one (1) year, commencing on determined of contract award. The Wilmington Housing Authority (WHA) is the largest direct provider of affordable housing opportunities in the State of Delaware, managing nearly 4,900 participants in our Low-Income Public Housing, Tax-Credit housing, and Housing Choice Voucher Programs. Programs serve low to moderate-income residents of the City of Wilmington. Directly funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, WHA's combined operating, capital and voucher program budgets exceed $30 million annually WHA reserves the right to negotiate with the selected vendor on deliverables, scheduling, and budget issues. WHA shall not be obligated to accept the lowest priced proposal but shall make an award in the best interest of the Agency.
