Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Farmingdale, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Scope of work for Contract G2 Secured Entrance Vestibule Addition is to provide a new Secured Entrance Vestibule. Phase 1 of the project included the foundation, structural framing and roof decking. The intent of this project is to complete the project as per contract documents. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the FARMINGDALE UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT, in an amount equal to five percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Certification of bonding company is required for this bid, see Instructions for Bidders section. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for forty-five (45) days after the formal bid opening. It is the Board's intention, and it reserves its right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, providing the required security who, to the Board's satisfaction, meets the experience, technical, budget and all specification requirements and has references and responses from references that are deemed acceptable by the Board. The Board reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or noncompliance with the bid specifications for any bid or bids, or to reject any and all bids and re-advertise to invite new bids, or to accept the whole or part of any bid or bids from one or more Bidders, which in the Board's judgement, is in the best interests of the School District.
