Approved Make/Model No.: Amarr 2042 Overview: DOT is seeking an overhead door company to remove existing doors and hardware and install new doors and hardware for various overhead doors at the Manchester and Dyersville Maintenance Garages. Locations: Dyersville Maintenance Garage 14117 Route 136 N. Dyersville, IA 52040 Manchester Maintenance Garage 1105 W. Main Manchester, IA 52057 Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Award will be made for any one group or combination of groups. All items within a group must be bid to be considered for a group award. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). DOT Estimated End Date: 12/20/2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids). Site Visits: A site visit is recommended and will be accommodated if needed prior to submitting a bid to ensure the vendor has access to view the job site. To schedule a site visit, contractors must contact the Purchasing Agent overseeing the bid at julie.brown@iowadot.us with a date and time of when you want to conduct a site visit. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.
