Project Overview: This project involves removing and replacing carpet flooring in two office buildings A & B located at 6075 Kimball Avenue, Chino, CA 91708. The selected contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project according to the specifications below. All products and materials used must be from the manufacturer's recommended specifications. 2. Locations: a. Building A: Approx. 22,650 square yards of carpet b. Building B: Approx. 16,500 square yards of carpet 3. Tasks: a. Removal: i. Remove existing carpet from both buildings. ii. Properly dispose of all removed materials according to local regulations. b. Sub-Floor Preparation: i. Skim coat sub-floor surfaces for both buildings. ii. Apply MoistureTek Prime as needed for moisture concerns. c. Installation: i. Install 18" x 36" modular carpet tiles (style: Patcraft: Color Variance_River RockStagger). ii. Install Carbon Rubber Cove Base, 4" height (Approximately:1,600 LF in Bldg. B, 2,100 LF in Bldg. A). iii. Apply pressure-sensitive adhesive. iv. Install transitions (approx. 108 LF for both buildings). d. Additional Work: i. Include base transitions and cover base adhesive where necessary. ii. Use QuikFill to address minor sub-floor imperfections (2 units per building). 4. Access and Site Conditions: a. The contractor will have access to the site during regular working hours Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Work outside of these hours may be arranged with prior approval. b. Parking arrangements for contractor vehicles and material deliveries will be provided onsite. c. Subfloor testing for moisture and alkalinity (in accordance with ASTM F2170) must be completed by the contractor, as specified in the final agreement. 5. Material Specifications: a. All carpet materials must meet the project specifications, using 18" x 36" modular carpet tiles (Patcraft: Color Variance_River Rock-Stagger) as outlined. 6. Warranty and Quality Standards: a. The contractor must provide a 1-year warranty on installation and follow manufacturer warranties for materials. b. All work must comply with industry standards, including ASTM standards for carpet installation and sub-floor preparation. 7. Cleanup and Waste Removal: a. The contractor is responsible for daily cleanup of the work area and removal of all waste. b. Waste disposal will be the contractor's responsibility. 8. Interested contractors should provide: a. A detailed breakdown of costs for each building. b. Cost per square foot. c. Estimated project timeline with key milestones.
