Question Deadline 10/25/2024 at 10:00 AM ET General Description of Services. 2.1.1 Location of the Work BRACKENRIDGE HALL, 887 First Street, Brackenridge, PA 15014 The development is a 1971 seven story brick apartment building of thirtyeight (38) efficiency apartments and twenty-five (25) one-bedroom apartments, for a total of sixty-three (63) apartments; 2.1.2 General Description of the Work. o Apartment Modernization: Interior improvements work is intended to generally include renovated kitchen, bathroom, new flooring, door replacements, painting, and appliance upgrades for twenty-five (25) existing one-bedroom apartments and fourteen (14) existing efficiency apartments. o Reconfiguration of Apartment Units: Interior improvements includes the reconfiguration/merging of 24 selected efficiency units to develop 12 new one-bedroom apartments, resulting in a post modernization total of 51 apartments (37 one-bedroom apartments and 14 efficiency units). o Interior Renovation of Common Spaces: The renovation work includes painting and flooring updates in common spaces and corridors throughout, reconfiguring the lobby, the community room, mailbox bank, and upgrades to the manager's office and public rest rooms. o MEP Upgrades: This work is intended to include plumbing updates, and replacing electric panels throughout the apartments, along with replacing boilers, hot water tanks, waste stacks, water supply lines, installing LED lighting, and electrical upgrades throughout the building. o Exterior Upgrades: Exterior improvements include roof replacement, updating roof exhaust fans, refurbishing the main entry and doors, replacing the maintenance shed, and upgrading site signage to be more permanent.
