Eden Landing Ecological Reserve Gate Operator Replacement Description of Services Description: Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to remove old, damaged gate operating systems and install new upgraded gate operators and other miscellaneous work. Location of Services: The location of services shall be performed at Congressman Pete Stark Ecological Reserve (PSER) at Eden Landing Ecological Reserve (ELER), along the east San Francisco Bay shoreline adjacent to Hayward and Union City. South of Hwy 92, west of I-880. See Exhibit P for map of location Contract Term Date: Upon CDFW approval until March 31, 2025. Time of Completion: Construction shall be completed within TWENTY-FIVE (25) WORKING DAYS following the official “Notice of Start Date” from the State to the Contractor to commence construction. Additional contract time will be allowed for delay caused by shortage of materials, provided the Contractor advises Engineer IN WRITING within fifteen (15) days from the beginning of such delay and provided the Contractor has made diligent effort to get supplies from known sources. Bidder’s Security Bids of $5,000 and over shall have enclosed, a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or a Bidder's Bond executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, made payable to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid.
