Renovation of a municipal facility in Monticello, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project consists of replacing the existing roofing system On the upper main roof and lower loading dock roof. Existing Roof penetrations, drains, and equipment are to remain and be Reused. The existing limestone parapet caps, associated copper Flashing and metal counterflashing have been restored. Be Aware these are to remain in place and the contractor is to Ensure sealant and flashings remain watertight at joints Roofing System Replacement, Historic Monticello Post Office, 211 West Gaines Street, Monticello, Arkansas Bid Security in the amount of 5% percent of the Base Proposal must accompany each proposal as described in the "Instructions to Bidders." Neither the Owner nor Architect assumes responsibility for errors in bidding or misinterpretations of Bid Documents resulting from use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents. The documents obtained through the Architect are considered the official version and take precedence if any discrepancies occur. The use of incomplete or inaccurate Bid Documents does not relieve the bidder of the obligation to perform all work related to his bid as detailed in a complete set of Bid Documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or information in any bid, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law,deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked.
