The City of Redwood City ("the City") is soliciting proposals for professional water consultants to conduct, on an as-needed basis, various recycled water and cross-connection program implementation and support services. All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the proposal. The awarded contract will be for a one-year term that may be renewed for an additional two-year term after the first term, at the discretion and approval of the City. The City's recycled water distribution system includes two (2) 2.18-million-gallon storage tanks, a distribution pump station, 5 sample stations, and approximately 20.25 miles of PVC and HDPE distribution pipeline ranging in size from 4-inches to 30-inches in diameter. The City's total recycled water demand in 2023 was approximately 183 million gallons, distributed among 177 irrigation sites, 14 commercial/industrial sites, and nine dual-plumbed sites. All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the proposal. The awarded contract will be for a one-year term that may be renewed for an additional two-year term after the first term, at the discretion and approval of the City.
