Site work and renovation of a civil project in Christoval, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes the installation of the following water quality and drainage system improvements within project areas as described below: The project consists of selecting and ordering a portable generator for the District. The portable generator will be used in emergency situations as needed at a booster pump station located at the intersection of RR 2084 and Cougar Trail near Pugh Park in Christoval, Texas. Electrical demolition and new electrical work will be required at the booster pump station to connect the new generator when needed. As detailed in the Instructions to Bidders, a Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the Tom Green County Fresh Water Supply District #2 in the amount of 5 of Bidder's maximum Bid price, as a guarantee that the Bidder will execute a contract for the work if it is awarded by the Owner. Bidders must execute documents associated with this Project using forms provided in the Project Manual. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). The Tom Green County Fresh Water Supply District #2 reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating Bid prices, to reject any or all offers, and/or waive formalities. This Bid will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the Bid opening, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner. This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which includes EPA-approved fair share goals toward procurement of Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses. EPA rules require that applicants and prime contractors make a good faith effort to award a fair share of contracts, subcontracts, and procurements to M/WBEs through demonstration of the six affirmative steps. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements apply to the construction, alteration or repair of treatment works carried out, in whole or in part, with assistance made available by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) or a construction project financed, in whole or in part, from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements apply to Contractors and Subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration or repair (including painting) of a treatment works project under the CWSRF or a construction project under the DWSRF. Any contracts or subcontracts must include the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Requirements found in TWDB Guidance No. DB-0156. All questions and comments shall be directed to online.
