This project includes the installation of the following water quality and drainage system improvements within project areas as described below: The project includes the rehabilitation of the electrical panels of the Districts three water well located in City Park in Christoval, Texas. Rehabilitation is to include the removal of old panels, wiring, and switches, and replacing with new equipment. The new equipment is to be elevated above the 100-year flood plain with a platform, stairs, and railings. New, heavy-duty chain-link fences are to be constructed around the three wells. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting for this project. As detailed in the Instructions to Bidders, a Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Tom Green County FWSD #2 in the amount of 5%% of Bidders maximum Bid price, as a guarantee that the Bidder will execute a contract for the work if it is awarded by the Owner. Bidders must execute documents associated with this Project using forms provided in the Project Manual. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Tom Green County FWSD #2 reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating Bid prices, to reject any or all offers, and/or waive formalities. This Bid will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the Bid opening, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Qualifications (RFQ) are expected to be funded in part by financial assistance from the TWDB. Neither the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees, are or will be a party to this IFB, RFQ, or any resulting contract. This project is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of 33 U.S.C 1388 for Clean Water State Revolving Fund projects or Public Law 114-113, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016, or subsequent appropriations acts, for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund projects. Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of these laws. The Texas Water Development Boards (TWDB) Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund programs receive federal funds from the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
