Question Deadline 10/14/2024-All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered Estimated Probable Construction Cost: $575,000.00 Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable Bid Bond payable to Beekman Water System in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a Corporate Resolution or written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid for the public work as prescribed by LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). Electronic bids will not be allowed on this project. The successful bidder must submit executed copies of the Non-Collusion Declaration, Attestation Clause, and E-Verify Affidavit within ten (10) days of the bid opening. These items may be submitted with the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. In addition, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as provided for in LA R.S. 38:2214(B).
