The purpose of this Request for Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified suppliers for ADA opener service and repair for Canyons School District (CSD). It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract awarded to a qualified supplier for service as defined further in the solicitation. This RFB is designed to provide interested suppliers with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. All bid preparation costs and any associated activities related to this RFB are the sole responsibility of the Supplier. The basis for design model of the ADA opener is: Nabco Entrances GT710 Low energy automatic swing door operator. Equivalents may be accepted based on meeting the following base standard: Basic specifications -- The control motor and door closure must be able to be changed out individually. When using Utah State Contract pricing, please reference the contract number. All procurement-related inquiries relative to this bid must be submitted through the questions tab in Ionwave and will be answered through Ionwave up to the Q & A deadline. Contract Period CSD intends to award a contract associated with this solicitation that will continue for one (1) year. Each bid must include an option whereby CSD, in its sole discretion, can extend the contract annually for up two (2) additional years on the same terms, prices, and conditions set forth in the bid. If the option is not exercised, then the contract shall automatically expire at the end of the contract term. Notice of exercise of the option must be given at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the contract term. Eligibility Requirements: The proposing Supplier must be properly licensed to do business in the State of Utah. Must be in business for a minimum of 5 years. Supplier must be able to be onsite within 24-36 hours after service call is made. Supplier shall only provide certified technicians to service and repair.
