Due Date for Receipt of Questions: September 18, 2024 Questions and Answers Posted: September 24, 2024 Notice of Intent to Award: October 2024 Board of Education Award Date: November 2024 Resulting Contract Term: Until all bond work is completed All contact with Huron Valley Schools regarding this RFP or any matter relating thereto must be sent to the following email: Wolford@macservcorp.com Huron Valley Schools (the "School District" or "HVS") has successfully passed its Bond Proposition for the 2024 School Building and Site Bonds ("Bond") and is seeking proposals from professional Technology Consultant/Designer Service providers to assist with designing and implementing the Bond Program. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to establish a contractual relationship with an experienced and qualified entity to provide Technology Consultant/Designer Services to the School District in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The goal is to create a mutually beneficial relationship under which the Technology Consultant/Designer Services will be performed, subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract. The Huron Valley School District is located in Oakland County, Michigan. The school district covers 99.6 square miles in Village of Milford, Milford, White Lake, Highland and Commerce Townships with an early childhood center, eight elementary schools, three middle schools and four high schools, including an alternative high school and the International Academy-West campus. Our Adult Education program supports students past their graduation year in search of a GED or diploma. The district also offers educational alternatives and supplemental programs for special needs students. Outside of the classroom, our music and theater programs, robotics teams, sports teams and extracurricular teams consistently receive state and national recognition. The School District's Bond issue is for $361,300,000.00 The work will be done in a 3-part series beginning in 2026, 2029, 2032. There may be additional dollars from the previous bond to be figured into eventual total spend. Construction spending will consist of remodeling 14 existing school district buildings and the construction of a new middle school. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
