Site work for a civil project in La Prairie, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a new sewage treatment plant in la Prairie. The new plant will use the biological reactor or activated sludge process and will be located on the land parcels located between Place La Citière and the Saint-Jacques River, on the edge of Brossard. The scope of work also includes the construction of required pipelines and pumping facilities. TIMELINE: Project design is ongoing. Engineering firm Artelia has submitted to the owner the the documents including a functional and technical program of the project implementation. The owner has awarded the firm 8418748 Canada Inc to complete a a geotechnical study for the sites of the future wastewater treatment plant in La Prairie. The owner has included the project in the City 2026-2028 capital expenditure plan and expects to proceed to the project development in 2026. Further update in mid-2026.
