Reference Number 0000364328 Job Location: Boulder C4C-Dining Renovations-2025 The project in the Center for Community will include upgrades and reconfiguration of Dish Room S259 to improve flow, replace the old flight dishwasher and add a second flight dishwasher, upgrade the current floor coating, and change the sanitary piping and floor drain from cast iron to stainless steel. The project will install millwork/cabinetry doors and countertops in the Main Dining Area, remove the old Campus Dining Services equipment, and install new equipment. Additionally, the project scope includes the demolition and reconstruction of the Waldorf Cooking Station at the Asia Venue. These components will be installed during Summer 2025 and be constructed per the documents provided by BVH Architecture. The objective of the construction project is to provide updates to the dining facility for improvements regarding dish room flow and efficiency, installation of new equipment and finishes, and the demolition and reconstruction of the Waldorf Cooking Station at the Asia Venue. Construction will begin in May 2025 with substantial completion in July 2025. Construction Budget is $2,000,000. The Regents of the University of Colorado Boulder anticipates using a Design/Bid/Build General Contractor (GC) approach to project delivery, and requests submittals for prequalification of General Contractors for Construction Project titled UCB001003-C4C-Dining Renovations-2025. It is the intent of the Department of Facilities Management to pre-qualify General Contractors and select a minimum of three (3) to bid this project in accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes 24-92-107, 24-103-402, and 24-30-1303 (1) (Q) and in accordance with Section 3-402.01 of the Colorado Procurement Rules. Pre-qualification and inclusion on the select bidders list will be necessary for bidding this project. This prequalification process is unique to this project and not withstanding other prequalification by the State Buildings Division and the University of Colorado, all contractors wishing to bid this project must be pre-qualified as defined in this document.
