Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Maquoketa, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Maquoketa is requesting sealed competitive quotes installing (2) ADA Ramps and sidewalks at City Hall. Final quantities will be paid by actual measurements done together and agreed upon by both Contractor and Public Works Director. All work necessary to complete the projects shall be included in the unit cost as quoted. Please keep in mind that sales tax does not pertain to municipal work and should not be included in your bid. The City reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities and make a decision that best suits the interests of the citizens of Maquoketa. Bid security is not initially required but that if awarded a contract, the bidder will enter into a contract at the prices quoted and furnish a performance and payment bonds and certificates of insurance Timeline: All work is to be completed no later than December 1, 2024 Questions: Any questions about the bidding process for these projects may be directed to Jon Hopson Public Works Director, at 563-212-0595.
