Renovation of a library in Winthrop, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Ramp Installation - Winthrop Public Library o The ramp would be a minimum of 42" wide to achieve the min 36" interior width, in addition to having a 5' x 5' landing area at the top to maneuver. The ramp would be about 24 feet long, 1 inch drop per foot. o Ramp support will likely be LVL cut. o Plywood subfloor (the plywood should be extra thick to cut down on noise and handle heavy daily traffic by children). o The ramp would be carpeted with carpet squares (solid color, exact color to be determined later with selected vendor). o Railing to resemble the existing. o Existing Ramp shown below for reference.
