Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Akron, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Region: 4 Counties: Washington Contract UDBE Goal: 5.00 % Guaranty: 5% of Total Bid Work Days: 70 This is an HMA overlay project North and South of Akron along SH 63 MM 25.1 to 34.3 with 3.5 " of HMA. Within the town of Akron a 2.5" HMA mill and fill will be performed. Guardrail will be upgraded to the current standards with Curb Type 6 (Section M) placed under the rail to control areas of high erosion due to rainfall events. The pavement will receive permanent striping and all permanent signs will be replaced This project is located in Region 4 in Washington County. Project work consists of HMA overly on SH 63.
