Renovation of a municipal facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project will rehabilitate approximately 4,800 linear feet of Irwin Creek and its riparian corridor. Work includes stream grading, installing rock and wood habitat and stabilization structures, erosion control measures, riparian vegetation, and removal of landfill/waste soil. All questions are to be submitted in writing via email to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (jake.maschoff@kimley-horn.com) no later than October 17, 2024 Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds shall be required for this project. Each bid that equals or exceeds $50,000.00 shall be accompanied by a corporate bid bond or a bid deposit of a certified or cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid for the contract. When a bid is secured by a bid deposit (certified check or cashier's check), the execution of a bid bond will not be required. When the bid security is in the form of a bid bond, that bid bond shall be executed by a corporate surety The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulations of various Licensing Boards and BDI provisions will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. Mecklenburg County, through the Business Diversity & Inclusion Program (BDI), is committed to providing minorities, women, and small businesses equal opportunity to participate in construction and professional services contracts. Outer Envelope- The Outer Envelope shall contain the sealed Inner Envelope and the Bid Bond. The Project Name and Bid Date shall be marked on the outside of the sealed Outer Envelope as well as the address for submission as indicated in the NOTICE TO BIDDERS.
