The project scope includes a new 2-story, 3 bay firehouse (approximately 14,600 sq ft.), site improvements, and road improvements. The project is estimated to have approximately a 15-month schedule starting in April 2025 through August 2026. Tentative bid packages are listed below, and additional bid packages may be added or deleted at the discretion of the Construction Manager. Wharton-Smith, Inc. is the Construction Manager at Risk for the City of Charlotte on the construction of the Firehouse #46 project located at 4032 Miranda Rd., Charlotte, North Carolina and is seeking to pre-qualify First Tier construction trade and specialty contractors who wish to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and tools for Firehouse #46.
