As of November 4, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 2025. The Anson County Water Treatment Plant Filter Rehabilitation Project is ~10M project, consisting of the complete rehabiliation of filters #5-8. In addition, there are two (2) Bid alternates for the Rehabilitation of filters 3 & 4, and 1 & 2. Base: Demolition and rehabilitation of Filters #5-8 including removal of all components withing the footprint of the filter, structural repairs, replacement of underdrain system, filter media, troughs, influent slide gates and associated piping modifications in the filter gallery. Modifications to the air piping, replacement of pneumatic valves and gates to electric actuators. Installation of a settled water interconnection between the filter water flume on Filter #1-4 and #5-8. New blower package and related electrical and I&C. I&C to be performed by CITI. Alternate 1: Demolition and rehabilitation of filters #3-4 (same scope as above including piping and actuator swap out). Installation of new filter control panels. Miscellaneous demolition of existing plant infrastructure. Associated programing by CITI. Alternate 2: Demolition and rehabilitation of filters #1-2 (same scope as above including piping and actuator swap out). Installation of new filter control panels. Miscellaneous demolition of existing plant infrastructure. Associated programing by CITI. Demolition of the dividing wall in the filter gallery influent flume between filter 2 and 3.
