Tthe Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke (HACN) is requesting proposals for the collection and disposal of refuse and recycling. Vendors must meet all municipal, state, and federal regulations associated with municipal waste removal at the time of the bid and continuously during the term of the contract. Questions concerning the bid package should be directed to Ryan J. Verazin, Executive Director, via phone at 570.258.1480 or email to rveraz in@nanticokehousing.org. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Year 1 value of the contract which will commence on January 1, 2025. The bid bond shall be made payable to the Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke and provided by a bonding company licensed to operate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke reserves the right to reject any and all submissions and offers and/or waive any informality associated with this proposal. By submitting a proposal, the potential bidder acknowledges that decisions concerning this proposal will be made in and by the best interests of the Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke.
