No definite date for the rebid.** General work description: Reconfigure the curve on Foothill Drive approximately 1,116' from the City of Vacaville limits. Construct a 32 feet wide roadway section of 2" of !4" HMA over 3" of %" HMA over 12" of aggregate base. The work also includes: embankment construction, retaining wall, ditch excavation, concrete v-ditch, adjusting facilities to grade, signage and striping, and potential removal of hazardous waste. The contractor should anticipate heavy civil work to begin March 15th, 2025. The Contractor will be required to perform hazardous material testing and tree removal prior to winterization. The tree removal must be completed by January 1st, 2025, when the County will issue a suspension of working days until spring. Utility owners will perform work within the project site to relocate their facilities. Bids must be on a unit price basis. Work must be completed within SIXTY (60) working days. The estimated cost ofthe project is $1,270,000. There is no DBE requirement for this project The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond.
