The Solano Irrigation District (SID or, District) is soliciting proposals from professional consulting firms for Environmental Services for the USDA Water-Saving Commodities (WSC) Grant Project (Project). The Project will convert portions of canals to pipelines, replace existing non-potable pipelines, replace a pumping plant, construct new wells, and install new pipelines and various appurtenances in at several locations throughout the District. The objective of the project is to conserve water and create a more resilient and sustainable system. This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation is to perform the environmental CEQA/NEPA review, complete appropriate documentation and acquire necessary environmental permitting for the Project. The project is located primarily around Dixon, California and includes construction of approximately 32,000 feet of pipeline (including canal conversions), replacement of one pump station, and construction of 3 new wells prior to December 2029. The District is striving to complete environmental CEQA/NEPA review by September 30, 2025. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
