Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) invites qualifi ed GENERAL CONTRACTORS to submit sealed bids to furnish all labor & material to complete requirements of bidding for LITCHFIELD SCIENCE LAB RENOVATION. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that bids are received by the above offi ce prior to the deadline. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Contractors who have submitted a bid are invited, but not required, to attend the bid opening. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/) and the Drug Free Workplace Act (30 ILCS 580/). All contractors and subcontractors shall demonstrate experience on projects of similar size and type. While this project is not administered by the Capital Development Board all contractors and subcontractors must be pre-qualifi ed with the CDB for a minimum of 45 days. Further information concerning the specifi cations of this invitation to bid resulting from questions submitted, either in writing or resulting from the pre bid meeting/site visit, will be communicated in the form of an addendum. E-mail or verbal responses to questions are not a part of the bid documents and only formal addendum will govern. The Central Illinois Builders' Non-Cash Security Method for request of documents will be accepted on this project, as well. The bidder shall furnish a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the amount bid in the form of a certifi ed check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to Lincoln Land Community College.
