On-call Professional Services- Engineering and Construction Related Tasks. Award of Agreements – December 2024 Question Deadline 10/23/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Qualifications must be submitted through online. All questions can be addressed to: City of Sacramento, Contract Services Attn: Kirsten Wise 5730 24th Street, Building 4 Sacramento, CA 95822 The City is not responsible for circumstances or technical difficulties that prevent the RFQ from being submitted. It is recommended that all RFQs be submitted early to allow for unforeseen issues. Late submissions will not be considered. The guidelines listed below were developed to standardize the preparation of Proposals by contractors. The guidelines help to ensure consistency in format and content of Proposals that are submitted to the City. This process will reduce the time required to prepare Proposals and will simplify the review process by the Selection Committee. Proposals shall contain no more than 30 single-sided 8 1/2 " x 11" pages (not counting dividers). All pages shall be numbered. A table of contents and index dividers shall be included for ease of review by the selection committee. (See Appendix A for additional details). Scope of Services The City of Sacramento, Department of Public Works is requesting qualification statements from qualified professional consultants for the purpose of establishing Professional Service Agreements and an on- call prequalified list in the specialty areas outlined in Section 2 - Scopes of Services. This prequalified list will be established to assist City staff with future Public Works projects and could potentially be utilized by other departments to enter into separate agreements. . Request for services will be made on a project-by-project basis. The City's intent is to rotate consultants; however, multiple proposals may be requested from several On-call Consultants for the same project and determination will be based on staff expertise in specific disciplines, availability of staff, and other related qualifications as determined by the City project manager. All individual projects will be prepared based on negotiated fees and proposals that are determined at the time the work is required. Each project may vary in scope and magnitude. Additional requirements may be added depending upon the funding source for each individual project. Projects will be delivered in accordance with project plans and specifications and within the funding requirements as necessary. There is no minimum guarantee of work under these contracts. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. It is anticipated that the City will utilize consultant services on projects where consultant fees are estimated from $1,000 to $250,000 range per project, and that multiple consultants from each specialty category may be chosen from the On-call list The City reserves the right to utilize different project delivery methods, such as design/build, design/bid/build, design/assist, or any other method, in order to achieve its goal of streamlining the delivery of projects. In some instances, a consultant may team up with a pre-selected contractor to deliver a project. The contract will be a five-year term contract, in an amount not to exceed determined by panel members for the five years term. We anticipate contract amounts not to exceed $950,000 and be dependent on the need of that particular category. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
