Kelvin Lane Storm Sewer Improvements. The Scope of Work Includes the Installation of New Storm Sewer and Drainage Structures, Minor Water Main Improvements, Structure Adjustments, Pavement Patching, Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Installation, and Restoration Work. All Bid Proposals Offered Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check Payable to the Village of Schiller Park in an Amount Which Shall Not Be Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid, as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted by the Village, a Contract Will Be Entered Into With the Village. No Bid Proposal Shall Be Considered Unless Accompanied by Such a Bid Bond or Check. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn After the Opening of the Proposals Without the Consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Scheduled Time of Bid Opening. The Contractor and Subcontractor Shall Comply With All Regulations Issued Pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 Ilcs 130), and Other Applicable Federal Laws and Regulations Pertaining to Labor Standards. The Village of Schiller Park Reserves the Right to Determine the Lowest, Responsive, and Responsible Bidder, to Waive Irregularities and to Reject Any or All Bid Proposals.
