Notice is hereby given by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park, Cook County, Illinois, that sealed proposals will be received for the following improvement: 2025 GRACE STREET WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS The water main work shall take place on Grace Street from Seymour Avenue to Irving Park Road. The scope of work includes the installation of 8" ductile iron pipe water main along Grace Street, gate valve installation, directionally bored 1 " copper services with box, installation of valve vaults, fire hydrants. The work shall also include the pavement restoration and concrete improvements. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. No proposals will be issued after 4:00 P.M.. on Friday, the 13111 day of December 2024. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the Village of Schiller Park in an amount which shall not be less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted by the Village, a contract will be entered into with the Village. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such a bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), Village of Schiller Park ordinances, and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of Schiller Park reserves the right to determine the lowest, responsive, and responsible proposal, to waive irregularities and to reject any or all proposals.
