Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Salem, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Replace Exterior and Roof of Gas Shed-Division 6 Remove the exterior skin and roof of Gas shed and replace with PBR metal panels Contractor shall provide all shop, labor, materials, equipment, debris/trash removal and supervision to apply new exterior skin and roof to the Division 6 gas pump shed. Remove and set aside existing lighting. Remove and properly dispose of existing siding and roofing. Replace all damaged structural wood members with outdoor rated treated wood. Remove and replace one damaged 6" X 6" corner post. The 6x6 corner post to be ground contact treated wood and shall be anchored in place to the concrete footing using post hot dip galvanized stand-off and anchor bolts. Provide photos of anchoring prior to backfilling around footing. Furnish/install new purlin boards for additional frame support as needed. Furnish/install (PBR) metal panels (silver/gray) for exterior siding & roof. Furnish/install new PVC trim for all exterior trim. Trim to be primed and painted in color selected by the First Sergeant.
