Site work for a mixed-use development in Garner, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of modifying the upper and lower concrete stoplog structures. A fabricated steel walkway and handrail is to be added to the upper structure. Work on the lower structure consists of replacing the existing wood deck with a fabricated steel walkway and handrail, adding sheet piling and riprap to the east side of the structure, replace the interior concrete walls and structure floor, and construct a fabricated fish barrier. Both structures will have minor grading for the walkway approaches. Proposal Guarantee: $25,000.00 Completion Date: 10/31/2025 The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance, within thirty days of the date of the award of the contract, will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security.
