The GHV Community School District intends to retain the services of a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for district wide improvements to HVAC Systems, Secure Entry Expansion, Classroom Improvements, and Courtyard Infill as part of the successful passing of a $21.4 Bond Referendum vote. Design work is currently at the end of the Schematic Design phase. Construction is intended to happen during Summer break of 2025 and 2026. Schedule and phasing will be determined once a CMaR is hired. To properly evaluate each CMaR firm, and in accordance with Iowa state law, the GHV Community School District will select the firm that offers the best value based on the criteria listed below and the ranking of each firm as it relates to the selection criteria: o Firm Profile and Background o Applicable Project Experience, Qualifications, and References o Project Team & Company Structure o Proposed Management Process o Safety Record & Internal Safety Program o Proposed Fees (to be provided in RFP issued for qualified firms) A more detailed RFQ & subsequent RFP will follow this issuance and outline the deliverables and selection criteria in more detail. Qualification statements shall be limited to twenty (28) pages maximum, not including cover letter and table of contents. Construction estimate is currently set around $18 - $19 Million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
