THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Department of Veteran Affairs VISN 6 to identify any potential American manufactured products capable of satisfying requirements of the Buy American Act. This is not a formal solicitation nor is this a Request for Quote/Proposal, nor an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The Government makes no assurance that any subsequent solicitation shall be issued, and no award will be made directly in response of information received in response to this sources sought. Information sought is for the purposes of satisfying minimum market research requirements IAW FAR Pt 10 Market Research, in order to develop an acquisition strategy and gauge the level of interest of manufacturers. The government does not intend to award a contract directly on the basis of this market research as it will be used to determine whether a BAA waiver should be sought for these materials. Summary of Requirement Charles George VA Medical Center is seeking businesses/manufacturers capable of supplying steam and water pipe fittings that are produced in the USA and comply with the Buy American Act (BAA) for market research.
