Renovation of a municipal facility in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Municipal Building located at 100 Court Plaza, Asheville and originally constructed in 1925, has a flat EPDM roof divided into three elevations. All three roof levels were damaged during Hurricane Helene in September 2024, and significant water intrusion has been experienced throughout the building. The scope of this project includes the removal of the existing EPDM, insulation and sheathing down to the roof deck; installation of a new PVC roof system; and repairs to existing brick chimney.
