Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc. (herein called the "Owner"), invites bids for an annual price agreement for the purchase of Crushed Recycled Concrete materials for the BVSWMA, Inc - Twin Oaks Landfill with the following definitions, term and conditions of bidding. Should this bid contain the BVSWMA's standard contract terms, conditions and insurance requirements, they will be attached as Exhibit A. Question Cut Off Date: 10/11/2024 01:00:00 PM (CT) SPECIFICATIONS :Item 1: Type D, Grade 1 Crushed Recycled Concrete. Recycled materials must be free from reinforcing steel and other objectionable material and have at most 1.5% deleterious material and be managed in a way to provide for uniform quality. Item 2: Crushed Recycled Concrete, 1" - 3" Bedding Rock. Bids shall be delivered using one of the following methods: Hand-deliver to: 2690 State Highway 30 , Anderson, Texas 77830 Ship to (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc): 2690 State Highway 30 Anderson, Texas 77830 Questions and inquiries about this request for proposals shall be submitted in writing via the Q&A feature available through Brazos Valley Online Bidding System . The deadline for written questions is Friday, October 11, 2024 @ 1:00 p.m Upon completion of the term of the original contract and upon the mutual agreement of both parties, the original contract may be renewed for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms [three (3) years total]. The renewal will be under the same terms and conditions as the original contract; provided, however, that the unit prices bid under the original contract may, by mutual agreement, be increased by no more than 10 percent (10%) of the original contract price. In the event a new contract cannot be executed at the anniversary date of the original term or any renewal term, the contract may be renewed month-to-month until a new contract is executed The Agency reserves the right to cancel this contract or any portion thereof immediately should supplier's delivery or service be unsatisfactory or for suppliers failure to comply with terms stated in contract. Bids must be received by the Agency prior to the time and date specified. The mere fact that the bid was dispatched will not be considered; the bidder must insure that the bid is actually delivered. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened to the bidder. Bid responses sent via fax or e-mail are not acceptable This contract shall become effective from date of acceptance and approval by the Board of Directors, or their designated official. It shall remain in full force and effect with firm fixed bid prices for a period of twelve (12) months.
