A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Demolition of facilities in four bathrooms including toilets, urinals, flush valves, sinks, faucets, and all associated accessories. 2. Installation of a new toilets, urinals, flush valves, sinks, faucets, hand dryers, changing stations, automatic door operators, and all associated accessories. 3. Deep cleaning of all four bathrooms. B. Type of Contract. 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. , for City Hall Restrooms ADA upgrades Project for the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, as per specifications on file in the Office of the Purchasing Coordinator. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent(10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age,religion, sex or national origin. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to acceptor reject any part of a bid, asmay be in the public interest. Every request for such interpretation shall be submitted via the PennBid Program (www.pennbid.net) to be given consideration must be sent in prior to October 21,2024 at 3:00 PM. Any and all such interpretation will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents and will be issued via PennBid to all prospective proposers no later than October 28, 2024.
