This project consists of the replacement of an existing heating boiler and mechanical room upgrade on the campus of Flat Shoals Elementary School. It includes the disconnection, removal, and disposal of an existing heating system boiler, and the furnishing and installation of a new package boiler, re-work of existing piping, pumps, electrical work, and all associated work necessary for a turnkey effort, all of the work in compliance with the Project Manual and any drawings and specs for the project The Pre-Qualification Statement must be submitted and received in duplicate by the Owners office (Rockdale County Public Schools, Facilities, 1062 North Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012) no later than 4:00 PM EST on Thursday, October 24, 2024 ***prospective Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified Prior to the Manadatory Pre-bid Meeting, Refer to the Bid Advertisement Contractor shall mobilize within five (5) days of that Notice to Proceed (or at agreed date), but no earlier than April 1, 2025 (contractor will coordinate an exact on site start date with RCPS based on weather and school operation). Work must be substantially complete by June 30, 2025. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Bond payable to Rockdale County Board of Education in an amount equal to five percent of the base bid, if the bid is equal to or greater than $50,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of contract sum, will be required of successful Bidder, if the bid is equal or greater than $50,000.00. Pre-qualification is required, refer to the bid advertisement for all pre-qualification and submission of bid requirements. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities.
