Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Peru for "Interceptor Sewer Cleaning & TV Inspection" and is further described as follows: Approximately 7,800 L.F. of sewer 12" to 27", including such by-pass pumping as necessary to facilitate the work. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Steel Products Procurement Act. The successful Bidder shall provide at least 40% of all labor required for the completion of this project. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the City of Peru. No pre-bid inspection has been scheduled for this project. If a bidder wishes to view the planned work, they should call Ryan Lane of Chamlin & Associates at (815) 223-3344. Bids may be held by the City of Peru for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
