Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waterford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed base bid work generally includes 1,050 SY of Full Depth (6") Cementitious Roadway Reclamation, 470 tons of 2" thick bituminous surface course paving, 2,550 SY of 2" pavement milling, 625 SY of selective base pavement repair, reconstruction of 1,800 LF concrete curb, 150 SY of selective concrete sidewalk replacement, selective concrete & asphalt driveway apron replacement, construction of handicap ramps, inlet head and grate replacement, traffic striping and signage, and related appurtenances on Church Street (Atco Avenue to Bartram Avenue) and Stevens Avenue within the Township. Question Deadline 10/16/2024 All challenges to bid specifications, questions and/or interpretations are to be presented within ten (10) business days prior to the bid opening and must be in writing, email is not acceptable. Challenges to the bid specifications filed thereafter shall have no effect on bid award. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after time and date designated shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All challenges to bid specifications are to be presented within 3 business days prior to the bid opening and must be in writing. Challenges to the bid specifications filed after the bid opening shall have no effect on bid awards. Must be in the form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required and should be made payable to the Township of Waterford. A Consent Surety Statement and Certification must be submitted. A Certificate of Authority issued by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance must be submitted. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid which best appears to be in their best interest. The owner also reserves the right to consider any proposal invalid which considers furnishing said items which do not conform strictly with that specified. If a nonconforming proposal is not discovered at the time of the bid opening, the owner reserves the right to reject said proposal at any time prior to execution of the contracts by them. Document Note: Specification and Form of Bid Proposal have been filed in the Office of the Township Engineer at 815 East Gate Drive, Suite 103, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054, and may be inspected by prospective bidders during normal business hours.
