Project no. 24.13.0, 2016R Flagler Estates Fire Station #21 & Sheriff s Office The purpose of this IFB is for a Contractor to complete all work to construct a new Fire Station in the Flagler Estates community. The site location for the new fire station is located at 4630 Melanie Street, Hastings, Florida 32145. The fire station facility will include an apparatus bay, living quarters, and all necessary apparatus support spaces. This facility will also include a space for the St. Johns County Sheriff s Office. Each submitted Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security, submitted on the Bid Bond Form provided herein, or in the form of a certified or cashier's check, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Lump Sum Bid Price of the Bid Option which is higher, as submitted on the Official County Bid Form, pledging that the Bidder will enter into a contract with the County on the terms stated in the IFB and will, if required, furnish bonds as described hereunder covering the faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Should the Bidder refuse to enter into such Contract or fail to furnish such bonds to the County, if required, the amount of the Bid Security shall be forfeited, not as penalty, but as liquidated damages.
