The Project will construct a new Sheriff's Nipomo Substation for the County of San Luis Obispo. The objective of this project is to provide the Sheriff's Office with a high quality, state of the art essential services facility to service south San Luis Obispo County for the next fifty (50) years. As the community of Nipomo continues to grow there is a corresponding need for an increase in emergency services infrastructure in southern San Luis Obispo County D-BE's shall be fully knowledgeable of and shall be required to comply with all applicable State prevailing wage requirements and/or regulations. Copies of the general prevailing rates of per diem wages for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the Contract, as determined by Director of the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). State prevailing wage requirements are published by the Director of the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. D-BE agrees that the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Maintenance Bond attached to this Agreement are for reference purposes only, and shall not be considered a part of this Agreement or any other Contract Document. D-BE further agrees that said bonds are separate obligations of the D-BE and its surety, and that any attorney's fee provision contained in any payment bond or performance bond shall not apply to any legal action between D-BE and County to enforce any provision of the Contract Documents. Section 00 60 00 Bond Requirements and Forms, and Guarantees: To be executed by successful D-BE and surety, in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.
